Aditya Mohammad, Automotive Enthusiast
The passion of this Civil Engineering Student on automotive is started from his passion on motorcycle when he was in high school. Adit enjoys challenges, which brought him to several races in Tanjung Pinang. When in college, Adit got interested on car modification, thus also brought him becoming the member of one of the most famous car communities. His strong commitment is shown when he consistently inspiring throughout a year after his failure on last year’s audition. This year, Adit has won Batam Pre-Audition. With the most Twitter followers among the other grand finalists, Adit now is competing representing Kepulauan Riau at the Grand Final of L-Men of the Year 2011.

Rayhan Febrian, Tourism Ambassador
Growing up in a family who often moves by his parent’s job placement has gotten Rayhan accustomed to diversity. It was no coincidence that he could eventually be involved in the movie directed by the famous Hanung Bramantyo, ? (Tanda Tanya), in which the issue of diversity brought up. Now studying in Hospitality Management, Rayhan was also inspired by the diversity of tourism. To channel that inspiration, Rayhan succeeded to became the ambassador for Semarang tourism 2009. By winning the Pre-Audition in Semarang, Rayhan is now also ready to inspire a healthy lifestyle, and prove that even a tourism Ambassador, could have a sixpack!

Syarif Maricar, Architect
The passion to a healthy lifestyle has almost gotten Syarif choose Medical School, though eventually, the Ambon origin chose to study engineering. It was no wonder now Syarif became a professional architect who is very concerned with healthy lifestyles. In the midst of his busy schedule, he often delivers motivational seminars in various cities in Indonesia, Syarif managed to overcome the limitations of time to keep doing exercise and achieve the ideal athletic body. Not only that, the others Grand Finalists recognize his leadership with the nickname “Pak RT”. By winning the Pre-Audition Ambon, Syarif is now ready to compete for the title of L-Men of the Year 2011.

Christian Loho, Cyber Café Entrepreneur
Christian enthusiasm for his origin Manado, brings him back to the city after studying in Jakarta. Graduated for a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Christian is now running his own business, a cyber café. Work directly in to the business, Christian still save some daily slots to exercise at the gym, the hobby he has been doing ever since attending college. With patience and consistency in running the business and the training, Christian became a living proof that time is not a barrier to get an ideal athletic body. People are now amazed to see the muscles and the sixpack sculpted on his body. With such traits, Christian is obviously a strong competitor to be reckoned at L-Men of the Year 2011.

Jeremy Siregar, English Teacher
After graduating from high school, Jeremy went to Singapore to continue his studies in theology. The biggest inspiration for choosing theological education is his own father, who is a pastor. Returning to Medan, he became a lecturer at the school of theology, and now he teaches English in a language institute. Over time, Jeremy also began to care about a healthy lifestyle. He was at the beginning not confident enough to exercise at the gym, and then Jeremy bought some tools and practiced at home. This is his attempt to reach out of his comfort zone. By winning the Pre-Audition Medan, Jeremy is now ready to inspire healthy living, not just for teachers, but also to a larger society.

Muhammad Ozy, Drummer
His father, who was a professional football player in Samarinda in the 70s, is the biggest inspiration for Ozy – his nickname – to love two kinds of sports at the same time, indoor soccer and skateboarding. Had felt the limitations of activity because of asthma, Ozy, the Mulawarman University graduate majoring in Marketing Management, didn’t become so desperate then. On his doctor’s advice to try exercising at the gym, he then cured from the asthma! As a bonus for his hard work, the drummer who had won the band competition in East Kalimantan then finally got the ideal athletic body he dreamed of. Now helping his parents run the business on machinery, Ozy won the Pre-Auditions in Balikpapan, and is enlisted to compete at the Grand Final L-Men of the Year 2011.

Made Adiguna, Hotelier
A young man from Ubud, Made Adiguna became the representative of Bali to achieve the title L-Men of the Year 2011. With the height of 184 cm, Adiguna has become one of the candidates for a newcomer model to be reckoned at the national level. The Udayana University student, who now helps his parents run an inn in Ubud admitted, that he previously had minimum knowledge on how to shape his body. It is precisely the one thing motivating him to seek out and to actively participate in social media communities. Being a Grand Finalist, Adiguna proved that hard work will get maximum result.

Adi Jaya, Basketball Athlete
The height of 187 cm and a very thin body are the biggest motivation for Adi Jaya to start training and get a more proportional body. His persistence then has provided him now an ideal athletic body that is proportional to her height. His craze over basketball brought him a winning at Menpora CUP, a basketball competition in East Java. Adi Jaya now spends his time studying Business Management, exercise, and channels his love for music by singing with a band that often performs in Surabaya. Winning the audition in his town, Adi Jaya is indeed ready to continue the domination of East Java in L-Men of the Year.

Gillian Pangalila, Social Activist
“Ability is what you could do. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it,” says Gillian who often provides words of wisdom in social media, just like his twin Gilbert. The winner of Banten Pre-Audition and Jakarta Audition likes to play basketball in high school. His hobby became an accomplishment when Gillian, with his school team, won a basketball championship in Semarang. His concern upon the others is shown by actively leading a campaign onHIV / AIDS. With the motto “learn by yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow,” Gillian is ready to do campaign for a healthy lifestyle as he lived in L-Men of the Year 2011.

Marino Alisastra, Guitarist
This Grand Finalists comes with a story of struggling and hard work that deserves praise. At 35, Marino managed to lose weight from 98 kg to 67 kg. He has joined the total of five Pre-Auditions and Auditions to prove his perseverance in achieving the dream of becoming L-Men of the Year. Marino does most things by his heart, including how he would entertain people in Surabaya with his skills of playing guitar. Now he has owned a collection of 9 guitars. The Chemical Engineering graduate, who has once entered AKABRI, now could be proud to be able enlisted at the Grand Final of L-Men of the Year 2011 as the oldest Grand Finalist. His dream is big and clear: to be an example and a figure for all.

Randy Yudhishthira, Architecture Students
Selected as one of the Grand Finalists, Randy came up with achievements people would commend for. At a very young age, he was selected as the Winner of a 2006 Travel Ambassador for Bitung. In fact, Randy had those moments when he felt inferior because of his very thin body. Starting from there, the students who now also works in architectural consulting firm started doing exercises to get the ideal athletic body. His achievements winning The Most Photogenic and The Most Favorite in the previous rounds, making him a Wild Card worthy to advance to the Grand Final representing North Sulawesi.

Okky Yoswara, Student Design
“You can do anything you want with passion.” This sentence has always been such a motivation for Okky, and also for the others. Okky is fully acknowledged, to be able to inspire a healthy lifestyle, he should be able to prove to others that he had succeeded in running a healthy lifestyle himself. After such a hard work of pumping up his body from very skinny to ideally athletic as it is now, Okky is ready to inspire the others. The photogenic face is not only adept at posing in front of the camera, but also pursues photography at the back of the camera. The Bandung Audition winner who also loves bicycling is now ready to prove that things can be achieved as long as we do it with passion.

Erik Suwanto, Distributor Medical Devices
A big man, with a big heart. This sentence perhaps describes Erik, the Grand Finalist representating South Sulawesi, the best. His kindness is reflected by donating blood regularly. PMI even chose him as one of the ambassadors for Palang Merah Indonesia. In the eye of the Judges, not only his passion in the social field which qualifies him to compete in the Grand Final. Erik also convinces everyone that the athletic body he got was the result of perseverance and hard work that can inspire others. “My body is a living testimony of L-Men,” as he said. The business owner of Medical equipment distribution company is now ready to fulfill his big dream in L-Men of the Year 2011.

14. Yodi Widhani – Accounting Student
The youngest Grand Finalist in L-Men of the Year 2011 admitted he doesn’t feel any inferiority to compete with the other Grand Finalists who are older than his age, 18 years old. To him, 18 years old is neither a hindrance nor a limitation. His youth is actually one of his biggest advantages on learning as much as he can from the others. Yodi had been very strict in terms of set a schedule for himself. He set the time for studying, jogging and cycling, exercising, and interacting with others through social media. After winning the Pre-Audition Banjarmasin, Yodi also actively gathers and inspire L-Men Community in Banjarmasin. Now Yodi ready to compete and convinces the judges and the public, that he is indeed ready to become a champion, the inspiration.

Dheka (East Java 1) – Art Director
Artist: one profession that can describe Dheka, who develops a variety of interior design on a daily basis.
He enjoys playing music, especially bass, as a hobby as well as a side job. A jazz bassist since high school, he once won the 1st runner-up of Eastern Java Best Bassist Contest. Together with his jazz band, Dheka has successfully produced indie-music recordings. Yet during his journey towards success he was underestimated when he chose to discontinue a further study to college. However, he could finally prove that the term “no college, no success” was wrong.
Skilled in multimedia techniques and networking, Dheka is now sowing the fruit of his hard efforts: a brilliant career. Once a thin man, Dheka now aims to become an L-Men icon.

Fredy (DKI Jakarta) – University Student
Science is his passion. Natural science may sound boring and complicated, but not to Fredy! His interest in science majors began with a relatively new study, Biotechnology. His interest in the natural sciences is also proved by his side job: becoming a lab assistant in Plant Biotechnology subject. Fredy discovered many new things through these activities, such as transfer genes from bacteria to plants to be resistant to pests and reduce pesticide use, so it can reduce the impact of environmental degradation. Eventhough a lot of his time is spent in the world of science, Fredy – finalist from Jakarta – never forgets to maintain his appearance through rigorous training and consuming the L-Men Platinum. Fredy used to have a lean body with a weight of 55 kg in two years ago, but now he has managed to transform his appearance by increasing his weight to 65 kg. He is very proud of this transformation, as it can be a source of inspiration for his friends at college to live a healthy lifestyle, as a valuable long-term investment.

Rio (D.I Yogyakarta) – Bartender
He may look familiar to some loyal fans and other participants of L-Men of the Year due to the outstanding efforts he has done to become the winner of this event.
In 2008, this U.S cruise ship bartender was forced to resign from L-Men of the Year Grand Final because of his job demands to leave for Europe. However, with full support from his family and his strong motivation, Rio made another attempt – a full two months preparation – to return in L-Men of The Year 2010. Since then, the myth of “opportunity does not come twice” is no longer true for him!
Becoming a bartender across Europe, America, and the Southern Caribbean, made him quite fluent in Italian. His favorite countries are Italy and Spain.
Rio also won a bronze medal for martial arts “tarung derajat” in National Sports Week in 2000, as a representative from Yogyakarta.

Adzam (East Java 2) – Management Student
His athletic body was not built in a day, but through hard work and commitment.
Adzam is currently studying management at a university in Malang. His body weight once reached 80 kg.
One and a half years ago, exercising was nothing serious but to spend his spare time.
It was Grand Final of L-Men of the Year 2007 on TV that changed his motivation and made him commited to regular exercise. His motivation became even higher when a friend from college won L-Men of the Year 2009. Adzam was more determined than ever to reach his dream: standing on the stage of this prestigious event.

As a second child of three siblings, he is now active as a model in Eastern Java, and once awarded “The Best Catwalk” in a modeling competition. He also won several taekwondo championships, i.e silver medal in pre-junior championship for Java-Bali area and bronze medal in national championship. One of his favorite sports is playing futsal.

Johan (Central Java) – Bank Employee
In the midst of his busy life as a banker, Johan is still active in pursuing his career in modeling. One of his unique experiences was at the time when he got a chance to act out in a pop-rock band video clip. One of his required scenes was to be slapped by another actress, which ended up in his bruised cheeks.
Johan loves playing guitar and is currently active in modeling all throughout Central Java.
His body weight, once was only 64 kg, sometimes became a barrier for his modeling career. Prior to that, he started exercising regularly with the help of L-Men Platinum and L-Men Gain Mass, and gained his weight to 70kg. Once addicted to drugs, Johan is now thankful for the healthy life he’s living now and ready to inspire others!

Luke, a Bandung origin, tried his luck at L-Men of the Year auditions in 2009, but he lost to other participants. This 2010, he managed to have more physical preparation by living a healthy lifestyle with L-Men, until finally selected as the winner of audition in Bandung. One of Luke’s hobbies is playing street basketball. Luke in the past was a heavy smoker and likes to drink alcohol. However, he finally realized that he did not want his stamina drained by smoking while playing basketball and exercising. Since the past two years, he managed to live a healthy lifestyle. This is what motivated him to be an icon L-Men, in order to give an example to other young people who are stuck in an unhealthy lifestyle. With a high posture and expertise to slam-dunk, he served as Center in the basketball team. One of his achievements was the All-Star Basketball title at Bandung in 2009. Luke is a big fan of Kobe Bryant.
