By car, each team drove from one point to another. Some very intriguing debates occured among some teams who were confused in searching for their destination and strategy to finish their race effectively.
“It’s pretty tiring as we search for the right locations, we asked a lot of questions to many people around. But overall it’s been very exciting!” Said one of the Grand Finalists. At their last point, the Grand Finalists were given a chance to meet some members of L-Men Community and exercise together.

Once in a while, the L-Men Community also asked the Grand Finalists’ exercise habits. Rio L-Men gave some examples of the right exercise moves. This quarantine activity went on with a yoga session together with Mister International 2009, Bruno Kettels. This chance was a not-to-be-missed opportunity for the Grand Finalists to share their experiences on achieving an athletic body and some tips on living healthily.

These two different generations mingled in warmth and friendliness. These primary school students made the day even more colourful by asking some very unexpected, naïve questions.
Some of the students told their simple, healthy lifestyle habits, such as having adequate sleep and routine exercise. As a creative way in living a healthy lifestyle, the grand finalists and students worked in teams to create a puppet show.

After their farewell with students of SD IKIP Rawamangun, the Grand Finalists continued their activity to visit the place where L-men products are produced: Nutrifood factory, Ciawi. They also got the chance to try organoleptic test. Mister International 2009, Bruno Kettels joined the group visit.

In the evening, the Grand Finalists were again trained in Self Development and Personality Class. Besides an athletic body, personality and character are also the main requirements of an L-Men icon.

Press Conference is not the end of the activities of the Grand Finalist for the day! After that, they go for shopping at Watch World and DAMN! I Love Indonesia. Here, the fellowship of the 12 Grand Finalists became more real as they joke around with Daniel Mananta, an artist who is also the owner of the DAMN! I Love Indonesia.

Finally, the Grand Finalists return to the Ritz Carlton Hotel to do costume fitting for the Grand Final Show . Curious? Wait for their action in the grand final round that will be aired live on Trans TV, 10 pm.

Today, they will have another make-over at Esplendour Salon and Press Conference at fX Lifestyle Center. The upcoming L-Men icon, of course, will not be chosen just because of his physical qualities, but also the ability to be an inspiration and role model of society, especially young people, in running a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, they will also follow the Personal Attitude & Manner Class by Michael J. Pranata.
We will also have a special guest at the Grand Final stage: Mr. Bruno Kettels, Mister International 2009.

The first group consists of Edo, Adzam, Luke and Rikas (as project leader), presented a Transformation Program of healthy lifestyle group. While Sadewo (as project leader), Johan, Rio and Fredy wanted to inspire students through motivating posters. The last team’s project focused on food as their Transformation Project, which is healthy catering. This team consists of Thomas (as the project leader), Dheka, Sonny and Andrew. The project does not only serve as a presentation, but later one of these projects will be conducted in real.

As an assessment tool, L-Men Community also had the opportunity to have discussion and take pictures together with the Grand Finalists. “After assessing the performance of each Grand Finalist, I was able to figure out who this year’s winner of the L-Men of the Year might be. Best of luck for everyone! “Said one of the L-Men community members who was present that day.

The fashion showcase consisted of a total of three sessions, namely a formal fashion, fashion appearance, and topless appearance. Their appearance was fully supported by Ted Baker – London, Phillip, and Potmeetspop jeans, make-over and hair do by Esplendour and make up by MAC. They looked more confident and showed a very good progress compared to last rehearsal. The Grand Finalists, blown away by the music, was more relaxed and ultimately dazzled the guests who attended that night’s event.

Based on the assessment of the panel of judges: Caroline Soerachmat (Fashion TV), Wawan Suharto (Parama Entertainment), Nando L-Men of the Year 2006, and Steven L-Men of the Year 2009; Johan finally succeeded in defeating other grand finalists and entitled as L -Men of the Year – The Best Catwalk. Congratulations to Johan, Grand Finalist from Central Java!

Teges Prita Soraya, an expert in Marketing Communication, shared her experiences and important tips on how to become a good public speaker, such as how to show each of their inner potential, and how to give a strong first impression. It is an undeniable fact that first impression plays an important and impactful role when we want to convey a message.

All Grand Finalists are challenged to introduce themselves and make a positive impression for others. This night, they will also prove their ability in the Fashion Showcase in front of visitors of Immigrant Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta. Can they accept the challenge? Some of them seem were very eager to see the instant results on the camera. Fredy, Grand Finalist Jakarta, for example, impatiently peeked the shots from the photographer. “I look different, well, which one is the expert: the model or photographer?” This photo session required each finalist to indicate the L-Men-style in front of the camera, by their ability to use various properties and poses. Swimwear by Arenas and accessories by IWEAR also support their unique appearance.

Today’s activity was closed with Acting Class with renowned actress, Ria Irawan, whose acting ability has not be doubted. The Grand Finalists were equipped with an acting training, ranging from body work up to the challenge of to compete their acting skills with the Tarakanita theater team.

Today’s photo session’s theme will be supported by various premium brands; fashion by Ted Baker, Accessories by IWEAR, swimwear by Arena. The make up team from MAC will make the character of each Grand Finalist increasingly prominent in the photo.

Moreover, an Indonesian actress who is highly experienced in acting, Ria Irawan, will be the special guest as an acting class teacher. Of course this opportunity will not be wasted by the Grand Finalists to explore the science of acting, one of the important skills needed to plunge into the entertainment world.

After the break time, renowned choreographer Ari Tulang taught a class on Posing; including how to display the best angle when it comes to posing for the camera. One important lesson from Ari Tulang: in a single second, a variety of poses and expressions can be displayed. The Grand Finalists then practiced on how to perform fashion catwalk properly. Some of them are already familiar with the catwalk, such as Johan and Adzam, but of course the training session from a caliber choreographer like Ari Tulang is the most-awaited by them.

Not only that, the Grand Finalists were also given a challenge at the end of training. In front of many people, they were asked to perform a fashion show as many as two sessions. The first session, was to present a formal dress with a black coat and a white bandage; and then swim wear in the second session. “They’re doing quite well and I am quite happy because they look very excited,” said Ari Tulang.

Transformation Project presentations are also required to be done as a Grand Finalist who will become an inspiration of healthy lifestyle for many people. The Grand Finalists looked a little tense, but they can handle it very well and look more relaxed eventually, especially during the make-up session for shooting the profile that will appear in Trans TV.

A class on nutrition, brought by Nutrifood Research Center, opened today’s activity. Knowledge on nutrition is certainly important as a basic ground for the L-Men icon, who will become an inspiration for a healthy lifestyle, especially for the formation of athletic and toned body.

Besides nutrition class, the Grand Finalists will also be enriched with knowledge on basic posing and catwalk, brought by famous coreograper Ari Tulang. Their arrival in Jakarta was heartily welcomed by the L-Men team. they went straight to Esplendour to get makeover. Some of them had hesitated when the hair stylist began to change their haircut. “I was surprised with the result because a few days ago I just had a new haircut and I feel it was good enough. That’s why I didn’t think that the result could be even better. I’m more enthusiastic now! ” said Rikas, Grand Finalist from Lampung.

After their appearances improved with a more stylish hairstyle, all the candidates of L-Men of the Year 2010 went through a photo session for personal profile photo. They are challenged to perform various poses, from topless to accessories. “It’s hard to pose in front of the camera; I had to show my muscles with the appropriate facial expressions, plus performing the requested poses. Luckily the photographer was quick to help, so I can quickly adapt with the situation, ” said Andrew, Grand Finalist from North Sulawesi.

Tomorrow, they will undergo the first day of pre-quarantine, which of course will be more intense and challenging.
