Exercise and Your Age

One thing to note is that muscle mass will decrease as your age, especially when you’re starting to enter old age. Once you enter old age, the speed of muscle reduction may be more pronounced. Remember, that your muscles will support your body frame for the move. When muscle mass decreases, someone automatically will find it difficult to move in old age because of loss of strength and motor skills.

In fact, one study published by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition states that the amount of muscle mass lost when entering old age is one of the parameters associated with the shorten age of a person. Research conducted on the average man aged 50 years shows that the faster and more amount of muscle lost, the faster these men also experienced death.

So, work out regularly to maintain muscle mass. If you’re still young and able to build muscle mass, it is certainly better for you to exercise , supported with nutrition and adequate rest patterns. Let’s exercise for a longer healthier life!
