A study by Sanjay R. Patel indicated that respondents who slept five hours or fewer per day, has the risk of weight gain, compared with respondents who slept 7-8 hours every day. Surprise! This is alleged to be caused by lack of sleep that affects hormones; hormones that affect your hunger and satiety.
Moreover, lack of sleep proved to be one of the causes of various health problems that associated with obesity, such as: heart disease, stroke, diabetes, including high triglycerides, cholesterol, hypertension, insulin resistance, and glucose intolerance. Then, it is worth to try to sleep early on this weekend and live a better lifestyle!
